mupen64plus-ui-console software package provides console frontend for mupen64plus, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install mupen64plus-ui-console
mupen64plus-ui-console is installed in your system.
Make ensure the mupen64plus-ui-console package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep mupen64plus-ui-console *
You will get with mupen64plus-ui-console package name, version, architecture and description in a table
